Tulipohamba is the first ever (pioneer) privately owned training institute in the health sector in Namibia, offering training in health care disciplines. The promoters of Tulipohamba fully subscribe to Millennium Development Goals and Vision 2030,thus the establishment of the institution. Tulipohamba is aligned with the development needs of the country to curb the ever growing demands of the quality health care service. The institute offers short and long term programs grounded in research and innovation tailor made to suite organizational demands. This is an important paradigm shift in the country’s human resource strategy, motivated by the National Vision 2030, of ensuring education for all. Tulipohamba endeavors to meet governmental objectives by creating a stable, sustainable and growing institution that will increase the relevance of tertiary education and training. The course is to equip the staff with the necessary skills mix in line with the industries best practices. Well trained staff is a crucial resource inseparable from service provision and organizational development. Just like any other Institution Tulipohamba has its own main objectives which are:

ILSA College Plan Field Trip

Independent College tourism department are planning on having an excursion to Melrose, 40kms outside Windhoek on the 7th September. The Transport fee for tourism students is N$400 and N$450 for none tourism Students.
According to Mr. Mulima from the tourism department, the tour planed by the department is mostly for the tourism students, but he also encouraged students from other courses to take part in the short journey.
“It’s only for three days and it will be nice, fun and entertaining for the students, since we don’t use to tour out and also because it is the first time we planning on having something like this” said Mr. Yuri IT for Developers student.
